Planning Board · Meeting of October 28, 2026

Hampden's Planning Board approved a Wilbraham Road lot reconfiguration and named Gina Stabilo its representative to the Community Preservation Committee. Only three of five members, Chair Patrick Coyne, David Demers and Stabilo, attended Wednesday's meeting. The board unanimously approved an Approval Not Required plan splitting a parcel at 412-426 Wilbraham Road into new Lots 3 and 4, presented by surveyor Mike Smith.

Selectboard Liaison John Flynn told members the CPA is funded by a "1 percent tax over the first hundred thousand of your value" and has previously paid for the Minechoag Mountain acquisition and Memorial Park shade structures. The board also acknowledged a state-mandated two-year extension, to June 17, 2028, of a special permit on Early Road for owner Sarah Dudley, and confirmed it has no meeting in November, pushing a Conservation Commission matter to a December 9 special session.
